Ensemble…Nous Faisons Des Exploits
On 12 October 2005, the Government of Cameroon and Transnational Industries Cameroon (T.I.C. SA) a subsidiary of  TAUG, Inc. (TAUG) signed an agreement for TIC to establish and manage the city bus system in Yaoundé and Douala, the two major cities in Cameroon. This project is a national priority, as it will significantly improve the lives of millions of Cameroonians, employ thousands and will help the country accelerate its economic growth. Underpinning this joint task is the desire by both parties to develop a case study to demonstrate how Cameroon is transforming itself into an excellent place for foreign investment.

LeBus has launched its operations in Yaoundé starting with 20 buses operating on two lines.  Line 7 runs from Nkolbisson to Poste Centrale while Line 8 runs from Mendong to the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications.  Studies earlier carried out on these two linesshow high population densities and good roads.

After a test period of two months operating buses in the harsh Cameroon climate, LeBus has ordered its next shipment of 60 city buses.  The first 30 buses should arrive in early February 2007 with the remaining 30 set to arrive in March.   LeBus welcomes you on board!

SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT IN YAOUNDÉ

Transnational Industries Cameroon (T.I.C. SA) is honored to partner with the Cameroon Government to revive the city bus transportation network. Together, our goal is to build a sustainable company that will help safely get the people of Yaoundé and Douala to work on time. Our passion, however, is to ensure the children of Yaoundé and Douala get to school without 3 hour walks in the rain or hot sun.
